Photograph Artwork
Tips to photographing your panel:
Hang your artwork on the wall. Don’t lean your piece up against a wall or shoot from a downward angle.
Light your work properly. If you are shooting your work indoors, do so in a room with plenty of windows and natural light. You may not need to shine light directly at the panel, especially if it’s bright outside. Natural light works really well for photographing artwork, but be sure there are no shadows on your piece.
If you are using your phone: Diffused natural light works best; FOCUS the phone by tapping in the middle of the screen; Take more than one photo (trying different places for different light); Hold your phone as steady as possible.
Edit your picture: Crop it to the edge of the artwork (crop out the background) and adjust brightness if needed.
