My art piece represents the beauty I found in chemistry through the popular chemist I painted, Hamilton Morris. I created this painting while I was going through a rough time with myself but through the process of this painting, I feel like it has lifted me back onto my feet and has given me a new vision to love myself. 

I use my art to express who I am as much as I can. I love to let my creativity and personality bleed onto a canvas. With my previous work I’ve used acrylic paint, spray paint, tie dye, paint markers, and have branched into writing more poetry and exploring photography. 

I’ve grown up around art my whole life that it feels so natural to me. Without art is like removing self-care from my life. I really have fallen in love with art and I want others to see what I see in it.
