Hello! My name is Aisha Patel. I work with all mediums and art styles, but my specialty is working in realism. While it's tedious, what I enjoy the most about the drawing process is seeing the blotches and smears of charcoal slowly come together with the more shadows, light, and details I add. It is a form of illusion that makes drawing faster, it is why I work with high contrasts in black and white. 

At heart, I am a storyteller. I aspire to become an animated film producer and writer. I've found comfort in the universes and characters I create through the world of my imagination and my art, and it truly healed me.

This piece is based on my character, Raine, once a Prince, a gentle soul known to be a true gift to the people of his Kingdom. Unfortunately, his story ends after the beginning of his reign, but I wanted to shine a light on his short-lived kinghood.
