I spent most of my summer time staying in Shanghai, rather than time in my hometown. I deeply fell in love with this modern city, where its magnificence attracts people from all over the world . It is metaphored as a pearl of the Orient, and its beauty is somehow incomparable. I focus on the dramatic clouds and skies over urban settings this year, which is greatly revealed in this piece. Art always reveals one’s thought of things, and this is the impression that Shanghai left me.
