I created this portrait to express the feelings, memories, and time I have spent with someone very special to me, my brother, Pablo. I painted him in a contour, abstract sense to evoke and to elicit  feelings and emotions from the viewer. For the background I used a golden brown color so that the portrait would stand out against it and be the focus of the painting.

I am usually painting and drawing and I am currently a Junior enrolled in AP Art. I enjoy drawing Abstracts and Realism. I have worked in most mediums and look forward to my first show at the Carmel Art Association.
