My name is Alexandra Aguilar and I had always love making art pieces. Making art relaxes me and de-stress me. I started liking to do art when I started taking art classes, before all that art did not interest me. But now art is the most I love; art inspires me to be happier and to enjoy life. I did this art piece that represents what I also love, I love dancing. My goal like a person is to succeed and get a career after high school. I would like to continue making art and do all that I love.
I love working with acrylic, and watercolor painting because these paintings give me the freedom to work with them however, I want.
One technique that I love is the Sponging technique, because it helps me to blur all the colors I want. And the technique that I work the most is with the dry brush because I like all the textures that this technique gives me. I am exploring to do landscapes and beaches; I had made some but I need to continue doing it so that I will make my art better with the time.
I like to paint every type of food; I just think doing food art works out good for me. But now I decided to try out something new, something I do not normally do. I decided to make something that has texture, something that will have many colors. I just had made one sketch about a girl dancing and I decided that will be a good art work that I could do for this art show. I am hoping my art can expand to everywhere so that people could see that art is amazing and important.
