My name is Noelle Raneses, and my artwork expresses scenes of serenity and simplicity. Whenever I create, I always aim to invoke a sense of calmness for those who view my pieces. My objective as an artist is to pursue an artistic career; to have my work exhibited and remembered in visual media such as films or video games would be a dream true.
As a digital artist, I tend to prefer creating art through digital art programs rather than using traditional media. When my art is not displayed on a screen, I work with pencils, watercolor and acrylic paint. My art style exhibits soft strokes, gentle shading and mellow tones to create that feeling of calmness I love so dearly.
For A Ghostly Stroll, I wanted to focus more on companionship, and the contentment of connecting deeply with another. As of recent, I’ve made close relationships with friends and loved ones; and even found someone who loves my company as much as I love theirs. In my painting, you can see two ghosts holding hands through a field of flowers. This scene manifests the fondness and warmth you feel when you’re in the company of someone you love. Where being lost in a field with no sense of direction turns into an adventure down the scenic route when you’re accompanied by your partner. It doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re doing; everything's better when you’re together.
