My art piece is in remembrance of the lack of creativity I had during Covid-19. I was a desperately bored, exhausted, angry, and pessimistic while away from school. For many months, I was under the impression that my creativity would magically return to me. The title “Back to Black” portrays yet a new version of my mind and creativity: using dark and twisted to evoke familiar yet unnamed emotions in the audience.
