My artwork utilizes fantasy animals, such as dragons, drakes, and wyrms, as well as prehistoric animals such as dinosaurs. I combined fact and fiction to create mystical and intense scenes. I mostly paint my ideas, however I do occasionally sculpt my creatures into real life. I have a huge interest in the life before us, studying how they look, how they act. I do put themes of suffering and stress in my work, as I suffer from severe anxiety and depression, some of which is represented in my submission piece. My art reflects my weird mind.

This piece follows a story I've created in my head. A tour guide looks longingly at a robotic creature, this creature made for war and murder. Later in the day at the museum the tour guide works at, a horrific accident occurs. The robot wakes up from a period of long inactivity, killing several guests and making everyone evacuate and putting the museum on lockdown until authorities can figure out how to shut off the mechanical animal. One straggler stayed behind, who is the tour guide, cowering in fear as the metallic beast lurks for prey. I worked on this sculpture for about 2 or 3 weeks in total before finishing it. I used air dry clay for the environment and used polymer clay for the tour guide and robot. I used cardboard for the boxes in the dark side of the sculpture. It took lots of hard work and headaches to put together. It was all worth it.
