The piece I'm submitting for this show is a drawing of the album cover of “Whole Lotta Red”. This piece is made freehand with red and black ink, as well as a lead mechanical pencil. This work is by far my favorite, the album had a big impact on my life and I haven't stopped listening since it was released. With this work, I am hoping to encourage other people to give art a chance and to try to make something they love, or based on what they love. One thing I found trouble with is having enough time with the piece. I am often busy inside and outside of school, so I often have trouble finding time and patience to complete this work.
