My piece is inspired by the movie Black Swan and the song of the same title by BTS. The main idea is being afraid of losing one's passion; when one's heart no longer beats or races for it. The Spotify storyline of Black Swan says "That the song lends voice to the band’s darkest fears — the music they create will one day cease to touch or move them... [and they] are stricken with the realization that music is all they have." And another quote from dancer Martha Graham says, " A dancer dies twice — once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful.” This resonates with me and many other people, sharing that fear of no longer feeling excitement and happiness from doing what they love.
