Flowers will come and go but not our mortal lives. We all perceive death or the end of our life cycle from different perspectives. Death to me is something very complex yet devastating, it is something we'll eventually experience. Mourning is not something that can be brushed off after losing a loved one. But I think when one has passed away they are now at peace as the rest of the world continues its cycle. I was told when I lost my grandparents, "estàn en paz". Although it was difficult, it took time to accept that they are now at peace, resting, and no longer tired. In a way, I try to live a life by accomplishing what I can, appreciate the life I was given, work hard for my dreams and to give. Because when my time comes I wish to remember the good of it all to say that I can pass away with peace.
