I am Shelly Chen, an international student from York School, Monterey. I have been passionate about art since I was in primary school and never stopped trying new things in art. Exploring new media is particularly interesting to me; as in this case I am trying to use markers to represent my favorite animal, whales. I love doing whale drawings because they are beautiful and highly spiritual. This piece is a combination of whales and pattern designs.I really enjoyed the process of making this artwork.
