My name is Milagros Munoz, I am 16 years old. I am in 11th grade at Seaside High School. I like to express how I feel through my art, using my current emotions or an idea that might have popped into my head. My imagination has made me create my own story during middle school.

I am planning to create a Manga about it later on. One of my big goals as an artist is to open up a little art business. I am currently taking a college class in business to help me achieve my goal.

Materials I prefer to work with the most are drawing pencils, colored pencils, paintbrushes, blenders and a gum eraser. A technique I enjoy using is my finger to create smudges. For my current artwork, I am experimenting with mostly shadows and highlights, and not as much color, to make it a black and white drawing. Using a limited color palette allows my artwork to have more of a Creepypasta look, which makes it have a dark side to it.

My artwork for this show is something I am really proud of because it comes out of my imaginative scenes from the story I created, as I mentioned previously. My artwork is a scene of how I imagine the main character as a 10-year-old with the demon next to him. My artwork represents a horrific and dramatic scenery, making it look like a Creepypasta. I enjoy making my artwork dramatic - looking to represent how anyone can get creative when it comes to expressing their art. I decided to keep adding more details to make it more dramatic, such as the bloody stains on the character’s clothing and face, on the glass behind them, and all of the scratches, as well as the character’s facial expressions.
