I am Etana Borum and I like to write, draw, do voice overs and create stories. This is my first time using acrylic paint and it was a challenge for me compared to the digital drawing which I usually do. This piece is about my character Jiah who is based off of me and my struggles with finding my place in the world and trusting my intuition. My art style is inspired by Across the Spider-Verse, the Netflix series Arcane, comics and graffiti street art. My goal is to freely express my emotions when I can’t speak about them, and to make a sustainable career for myself from my art.
