I make paintings that remind us of the wonder that we felt as children. As teens, we are often stressed with school life and social media which affects our feelings negatively. Growing up, people often feel disconnected from their emotions and memories of childhood. I want this piece of art to remind people of an experience of simple and authentic joy and also bring us closer to our inner child. In this painting the bubbles represent playfulness and serve as a reminder to the subject and the viewer to cherish the beauty and curiosity of the present moment and all things temporary.
